These dogs are the best and have grown and matured quite a bit since last summer.
I’ve been attempting to train Bee, but Bumble has put the work in to train him on being a good guard dog and has been very successful.
Since it’s winter in beautiful Minnesota, we are trying to keep these dogs engaged and keeping their minds active. I have lick mats and enrichments that are super healthy (I’ll post about this soon). Keeping them from being bored is #1 when you can’t physically interact with them when you have ice and snow outside. I worry about slipping myself, but now that it’s balmy this week (mid 20’s F) I will plan on taking them both on individual sniffy walks.
This week is catch up week. Making teats for the dogs, dog baths, laundry, house projects and baking. Two events are happening this week that I am also excited about. Wine and Christmas Floral Centerpiece making at our local store 5 minutes away, and a Jingle Bus Tour in Minneapolis. I didn’t previously know what a Jingle Bar was. I am excited to hop on the bus and enjoy the over the top holiday decorations! I’ll be sure to share photos afterwards.
Last week we had an adventure. We went to a local farm and did some cow cuddling. Yes, that’s right, Cow Cuddling. Shout out to Curious Cows for having us. We had so much fun. I took the farm tour and then we were able to cuddle and give love to two cows that were so sweet and fun. One did chew a hole in my new shirt, but that comes with the territory. My husband powered through all of the extra pain to be with me and get out of the house, definitely a day date I would recommend to anyone local.
